Task 3.1: Learn How to Modify a recipe by watching this video.
Task 3.2: Practice Modifying a Fraction in a Recipe
Task 3.3: Open the recipe and look at the ingredients. Next, look at the serving amount. How many people does the recipe serve? Modify the recipe ingredients to feed 25 people. After you have modified the recipe, post your answers to Answers Page.
(Tip: If the recipe serves 4 people, you would need to multiply each ingredient amount by 7. This would allow the recipe to serve a total of 28 people, which would definitely feed 25 people. If you would have only multiplied the recipe by 6, then it would only serve a total of 24 people, which is not enough.)

Part 4: The Final Task - Modifying Recipes for Your Class
Task 4.1: First Course: The Appetizer
For this task you will be modifying an appetizer to serve to your entire class. Remember we have 25 students in our class.
1. Look at the appetizer recipe and what it includes.
2. Take a close look at the ingredients and the amounts required.
3. Find out how many people the recipe serves. You must use the serving size from the original recipe.
(Example: If the serving size is 4, the recipe serves 4 people.)
4. Decide how much you need to increase the recipe to make enough to serve our class.
5. Modify the recipe.
6. Go to the Answers Page and submit your answers. When submitting your answers make sure to write "Task 4.1: Appetizer" in the Task # box. Then, rewrite the recipe to include your new ingredient amounts in the New Recipe box .

Task 4.3: Second Course: The Dessert
For this task you will be modifying a dessert to serve to your entire class. Remember we have 25 students in our class. This recipe is the most challenging! Make sure to pay very close attention and double check your work.
1. Look at the dessert recipe and what it includes.
2. Take a close look at the ingredients and the amounts required.
3. Find out how many people the recipe serves. You must use the serving size from the original recipe.
(Example: If the serving size is one dozen, the recipe serves 12 people.)
4. Decide how much you need to increase the recipe to make enough to serve our class.
5. Modify the recipe.
6. Go to the Answers Page and submit your answers. When submitting your answers make sure to write "Task 4.3: Dessert" in the Task # box. Then, rewrite the recipe to include your new ingredient amounts in the New Recipe box .
